Augmented Self and Networked Generations: Development and Application of Narrative AI with the Retired Generation as its Main Object: From VR through to NarrativeBot
Narrative Bot
We propose a three-year interdisciplinary research project, which, with human quality—narrative and imagination—as the basis to engage in artificial intelligence applied research to develop core and niche technology: NarrativeBot system and its application in VR/MR games and storytelling chat companion robots.
Machine Learning
With the development and application of NarrativeBot system, our project extends from basic research to policy orientation for young people facing difficult work environment. It paves the way for new AI interdisciplinary startups to assist young generation to technologize and internationalize cultural creation so as to build low-cost high-efficiency competitiveness.
UI/UX research
Through the past, present, and future experiences of interactive narrative, it helps activate people’s cognition and self-identity of their aging world, augment self to support ageing population, and network generations to bridge generation gap.
